The Sycamore High School Varsity boys bowling team participated in the Viking Invitational on Saturday, December 13th at Don Carter Lanes in Rockford. 27 teams participated in the invitational. After three games Sycamore was in 3rd place with a 4002 series total. Sycamore placed 4th at the end of the tournament. Sophomore Austin Ricker was the highlight of the day, bowling the team high series of 1361 and also placed first in the tournament for high game of 289 and high series. Senior Kris Williams followed Austin with a series of 1319, and placed 2nd for the high game of 278 for the tournament and also placed 4th in high series. Junior Kyle Edwards bowled a 1267 series for 6 games. Senior Jake Webb ended with a 1160 series. Junior Shane Toms had a series of 986 for 5 games, then junior Andy Wallace finished the last game with a 195.
