The 24th Annual
Pins Over Average Tournament

What's this all about?

This is as easy as tournaments get! You qualify through your league play over two weeks: January 18-24 and 25-31, 2004. To make it even better, each week is a separate tournament. That means that even if you bowl bad one week, you can still qualify the next! At the end of the contest, the man and woman highest over average in the house go on to the next round - and win a cash prize just for showing up! Keep bowling well and you could end up with the Grand Prize - $8,000! Second place is nothing to sneeze at, either - a 7-day vacation for two in Hawaii (including air fare from Chicago and all taxes)! So what are you waiting for?

Ha! I can't even bowl my average, and you want me to bowl over my average? Ha, I say again!

Let's not be silly, now. Some of your games are below average. Some of your games are above average. That's why it's called an "average"! Now, if it was a "Bowl Exactly Your Average" tournament, that would be tough. But it's not, so go for it!

Your unassailable logic has convinced me! What do I have to do?

Thank you! All you have to do to enter is pay a measly $3.00 for an entry form during the week of January 18-24, 2004. Remember, the tournament runs for two weeks, so don't lose that entry form! That's two chances to win $8,000 for only $3.00! If you break that down even further, it's only 50˘ per game! It could be the best investment you've ever made!

How do I know if I'm eligible?

View the BPA Rules page to determine whether your $3.00 will be an investment or a donation.

Can I get my money back if I bowl below my average?

No, but if you do really horribly, we'll give you "Honorable Mention" right here on our web site, for millions of people worldwide to see.

Do I use my current average? My highest average? Can I use my golf  score as my average?

(a) See the BPA Rules page; (b) see the BPA Rules page; (c) Don't make me come over there!

What are bowling balls made of?

Stuff™.

If I qualify for the next round, where will I be bowling? Is there another round after that? Can't you just mail me a check and pretend I won?

For answers to the first two questions, please visit...you guessed it...the BPA Rules page. As for the last question...we've reviewed it with our accountants, and they say yes, provided that: (a) you pretend we mailed you a check, and (b) you pretend you cashed it. Enjoy!

I can't sleep / I'm bored at work / I can't tear myself away from this page...so where can I learn more?

Come on, you know the answer to this one (all together now): the BPA RULES PAGE!!!
